Local Weekend Outlook

In addition to the Arizona State Smallbore Prone Championship at Phoenix Rod and Gun Club, the Tucson Rifle Club, also has some matches scheduled this weekend. The Roy Dunlap NRA Highpower match kicks off tomorrow at the Three Points Range at 7:00am. Sunday the monthly 1000 yard club match will be held for those interested in honing their long range skills. Start time will again be 7:00am. The Tucson Rifle Club was first organized in 1896 and chartered by the National Rifle Association in 1919. As such, TRC is one of the oldest continuously operating shooting clubs in the State of Arizona. For more information about this storied club click here

For those looking to relax from the busy shooting schedule and that want to help out a bit, local club shooter German Salazar is looking for "a few good men". German is organizing a work party at the PRGC highpower range. Target rebuilding and upright repair are on the agenda, so if you are in the area and want to help out, the fun begins at 8:00 am.
